Briseida Y. Delgado-Miranda, Esq., CPA is the founder of Delgado Miranda Law Offices, LLC. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, corporate disputes, and insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, restructuring, and consulting. As both an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, she brings a unique perspective to complex financial and legal issues.
With nearly 20 years of legal experience, Ms. Delgado-Miranda has honed her skills in litigation and corporate disputes while working at prestigious law firms in Puerto Rico before establishing her private legal practice in 2012. She began her career as a staff accountant in the Tax Department of Deloitte & Touche, one of the Big Four CPA firms, where she focused on tax compliance services.
Her professional memberships include the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Puerto Rican Association of Financial Analysts (APAF).
Ms. Delgado-Miranda is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico, Massachusetts, and federal courts, including the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and its Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Her commitment to education includes volunteering with Credit Abuse Resistance Education (C.A.R.E.) and offering seminars on creditor’s rights and bankruptcy for the Puerto Rico Society of CPA’s and the Puerto Rico Supreme Court’s continuing education programs.
