Briseida Y. Delgado-Miranda, Esq., CPA is the founder of Delgado Miranda Law Offices, LLC. She has extensive experience representing diverse clients in complex cases focusing on financial matters and disputes. Briseida concentrates her legal practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, corporate disputes,  bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, and consulting.

Before establishing her private legal practice in 2012, she was a trial attorney in the litigation departments of two prestigious law firms in Puerto Rico. Prior to that, she worked as a staff in the Tax Department of Deloitte & Touche, L.L.P.

 

Briseida obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law, and her B.B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. Briseida is also a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Puerto Rican Association of Financial Analysts.

 

Briseida is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, including the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and the Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She teaches financial literacy as a volunteer for Credit Abuse Resistance Education (C.A.R.E.), and she has offered the seminar Creditor’s Rights in Bankruptcy, as part of the continuing professional education program of the PR Society of CPA’s, as well as the continuing legal education program of the PR Supreme Court.
